In the winter months, it is too cool for beach going, but Daytona Beach is still warmer than many areas up North. The area is inspected by many so-called "snow-birds" who possess winter homes or condos in Florida. Hotel rooms are inexpensive and abundant, especially in December and January.

Daytona Beach has been a beach lovers dream come true for many decades. Its perfect location along the Atlantic coast does it a exact playground for those who love the water. But there are several more great things to experience, even though splashing about the ocean is reason sufficient to come to this marvellous hotspot.

February and mid-April are active months in Daytona Beach, as loads of tourists flock to town for peculiar events, starting with the Rolex 24 Hour race, the Daytona 500 race, Bike Week (now really two weeks), Spring Break, and Black College Reunion. Local accommodations are obstructed to capacity through this period.

The piers and walkways offer a beautiful view of the ocean, but what if you desire a great view of the beach? The TrolleyBoats offer a spectacular view as you cruise along the Halifax River. It also takes you to the Riverfront Marketplace and then makes its way along the popular Daytona Beach. It’s worth the trip.
