Why You Should Visit Florida

Florida is one of those states that is able to win the heart of just about anyone, wherever your interest might lie. From painting to music, amusement parks and outer space, Florida is able to meet your needs- and the amount of sunshine that it receives doesn't hurt either! Florida is home to some impressively unspoiled beaches, the epicentre of American space flight and even a safari! With a land mass larger than England and with so much to explore, it about time you too experienced the magic of the sunshine state! Here are our reasons for making Florida your ultimate holiday destination this year:

Key West

Key West has a fun holiday vibe and is just as popular with the locals as it is with tourists. Catch live bands playing at Sloppy Joe's and then catch a glimpse of the stunning sunset to end the day off. With it being only 90 miles away from Cuba, Key West's diversity is something to behold!

While it may seem like an obvious choice, Miami is a place that constantly evolves and always has something new to experience, no matter how many times you find yourself there. Its lively South Beach scene is great for the art and culinary scene that it is now being recognised for. The Design Miami Basel is a must visit if you happen to go during that time of year. Miami is also one of the most international parts of Florida, making everyone feel welcome.

The Everglades

The Everglades National Park is one for the whole family and is a highly rated Floridian tourist destination. Where else can you ride an airboat around the swamps and see birds and alligators in their national habitat. The rich wildlife experience will create memories that last a lifetime.

Palm Beach

Palm Beach, located on the south eastern coast of Florida is an exclusive area of land hailed as celebrity hot spot and white is houses mansions and large society balls, can be reserved and rather quiet too. It's also one of the few places where loggerhead, leatherback and green sea turtles come to shore to nest.

Disneyworld in Florida is one of the main things that originally put Florida on the map and consistently attracts visitors from far and wide. If you can only go to one park, do Magic Kingdom where you can dine with Princesses and then definitely head to Epcot. The ever growing parks leave its visitors dying to come back for more and there is always something more to discover.

Fort Lauderdale

America's answer to Venice, For Lauderdale has 165 miles of navigable local waterways, ideal for budding sailors and water lovers. It offers stunning scenery and a chance to really kick back and relax.
Once you've packed your bags, grabbed your dollars and secured yourself the all-important ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorisation) it's time to cross Florida off of your bucket list!
